Do you want some of your affiliates to receive commissions on ALL sales of a particular product?
If so, you should know what an “affiliate parameter” is.
A great example of when this would come in handy is if you have a specific page on your website setup directly for a specific affiliate.
Let’s say ‘Affiliate A’ has a specific landing page on your site to drive his customers and his customers only.
Example: http://www.yoursite.com/AffiliateA.html.
This affiliate deserves all the credit for sales driven to this page, so you would add the “affiliate parameter” to the end of each product link on that page.
An affiliate parameter allows you to mark every single sale of a certain product as having been referred by a specific affiliate.
It’s easy to implement: just add it to the end of the product link.
The affiliate parameter is:
&afid=XXXXXX
where XXXXXX represents the ID of the affiliate you would like to give credit to.
Just take your existing product link and add the affiliate parameter to the end of it!
It’s that easy!
